Our Mission

"Bread From Heaven" is a food ministry program that was founded in April 2007 by New Bethel General Baptist Church. "Bread From Heaven" provides much needed food to low income families in our community each month. On an average month, we give food to more than 100 households, serve more than 250 people and distribute over 3,500 pounds of groceries and other staples such as diapers, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent etc.

About Us

"Bread From Heaven" is 100% volunteer staffed and funded primarily by the church. The pantry serves 9 zip codes in 4 Arkansas counties, by providing bags of groceries to those in need. The food pantry is housed at New Bethel General Baptist Church, space and utilities are provided by the church at no cost to the pantry, so 100% of all donations go directly to the people who are served. People we serve come from all walks of life, and have proved to be a blessing to each of us.

Eligibility

To be eligible for assistance, an individual or family should have some proof of identification as well as proof of address. Please call the pantry to determine eligibility.

Hours of Operation

"Bread From Heaven" is open on Wednesday evenings for emergencies only from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Normal food distribution is on the last Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Location

The pantry is located at 739 Hwy 167 North in Bald Knob (we are on the corner of Highway 167n and Honeysuckle Road). Use the new life center entrance on the north end of the sanctuary.
